| I turned my on briefly to see if my FS was doing OK and lo and behold, I have three 5s!! Woo hoo!!!! All below my average at the moment, but that's part of my plan... working on bringing that average down to, well, average. I'm aiming for a perfect 5.5000. |

I'm probably self-DQ'ing this time around. I wasn't expecting much, but I wasn't expecting sub-5 by any stretch. I'll give it to 60 votes and see what happens, but wow.

The self-DQ... do you think there are a handful that might appreciate it? If so, leave it in. I like finding gems that others probably don't appreciate as much.
Scores? Yeah, they're sucking. Though my FS is above a 5, last I checked. I'm definitely in the "no more challenges for awhile" mode again. Comes and goes. Mostly it's a lingering presence, kinda like the smell when you cook fish.... :-) |

I don't know. I'm thinking that this Free Study might be an anomaly. Something about the description that was placed on it. Think about it. When was the last time you had this many people, even on Team Suck, showing sub-5 scores? In the Free Study score thread, I'm seeing low 5s and sub 5s on people that usually score way higher. Something just stinks here! |

guess I'll buck the trend. my FS is around 5.6ish, which is mediocre by dpc standards, but above my average. :)
of course, i think it looks overprocessed and oversaturated, but what do i know? |

You're absolutely right, and I'm going to switch my focus here. Time to revive The K10DGuy FreeStudy Comment Experiment and knock some creativity into the heads of some people ;D |

My FS is at 5.3 and change, but it's subject material that's an automatic kiss-of-death and it's kind of weird composition & processing.
So I'm ecstatic......8>)

I have had FOUR sub-4 scores in the last 15 challenges.....who cares?
I'm having fun, and the three images were respectively,a friend of mine's daughter who both love the image, a shot during my Honduras trip that was one of the best experiences of my life, and a shot of this ultra-cool feral cat of ours who is adjusting very nicely to house-pet life.
What do I care what the voters think of those images?
They are part of the adventure that is my life!.....8>)
