I'll probably get stoned in the market place for admitting this, but I miss Rose!
There was always SOMETHING going on.... a continuous soap opera of epic proportions.
If I was bored, I knew I could come here and find something juicy going on in the forums.
Now all I have left is to immediately think "orbs" (and hum the twilight tune) every time I see a lens flare ;-) |

| The problem that I'm having, is that I didn't see anything worse from her than I saw from others. And if she had been around that long and had managed to behave herself, maybe she was turning over a new leaf. If she had cheated with the photograph, that wouldn't be forgivable. But if she just had anger management issues and had gotten them, for the most part, under control...? |

I think I read that her Previous behaviour had been so extreme that she was Permanently Banned. If I understand correctly, she has since attempted to circumvent that behaviour multiple times under new username/accounts.
So the Previous Behaviour Permanent Ban is the reason, and re-joining is a violation on its face, no matter what she says or does (or doesn't say or do) afterwards.

She may very well have been the photographer, so let's not go down that road. The bottom line is that Rose was banned for numerous site violations and outrageously bad behavior. She has repeatedly tried to come back through duplicate accounts and direct begging, but after so many warnings and suspensions, she ran out of second chances. Plus, there's a question of integrity with editing and forum posts when the user isn't even being honest with her identity. She's essentially burned her bridges, stocked the river with crocodiles and lobbed mortars over the chasm, so any promise of good behavior is moot at this point. |

Is there any way to be sure that she won't get back on? Unless I'm wrong...the only way to be sure is to check the IP of every new member. Is that possible? And if it is....can't she change providers...go to the library....go to a friends house etc?
I have a feeling we'll see the toothless one again ! |

The intelligent thing to do is start off at DPC with no integrity and behaving badly. That way your stock can only go up. ;-)

I think it's a shame. The woman is obviously not well and shouldn't be allowed to continue here but I hope she can keep up with the photography that she obviously enjoys as it may give her an outlet from whatever ails her.

Sounds like great timing or NOT for the Nightmare II challenge. What a nightmare for DPC. Good luck in keeping this nightmare away...sounds like it will be a recurring thing. Hope not for the DPC staff and members.

damn just went through teh thread, she should so be reinstated, never laughed so much in , well all day really.
Never did like those stupid paper flowers anyways.
also edited to add: Crap, it wasn't one of the free memberships I gave out was it?? If ti was, can it be donated to someone else, or if it wasn't me, can the same thing happen to whomever did give it out?

No chance of forgive and forget?
She obviously had talent to get 3 ribbons in 36 entries, and surely if this time she was a lot better behaved then maybe its time we all moved on - its seems something of a witch-hunt going on with the SC here - makes me feel somewhat uncomfortable.
And the sheep, as always, are bleating behind them.
Such a shame.

Given her history & propensity for lying, I suspect that her recent thread talking about having to sell her equipment to have all her teeth pulled was false. She enticed generous members to offer free items, including a free camera, under what was a false identity & possibly false pretenses. I have no sympathy for her, and am glad that SC was on it. |
