The silent auction was Saturday night, it was a charity function to benefit our hospital.
I didn't go, but there was actually bidding on my print (~11x15"), and it finally went for $350, at least that's what I was told by the organizers, though some folks I know said they saw it at $420 near the end.
I'm pretty happy about it.
The print was similar to this one, but with a better crop:

Thanks everyone.
Now if I ever end up in the hospital and need a catheter inserted, I can refer to my donation and demand the pretty nurse.

Just remember that they'll get to write off $349 of that as a charitable contribution ... ;-)
Seriously, congratulations ... the auction thing is an idea I'll have to look into with our local non-profits. |
