Some people are having issues sending LARGE TIF files. If you have problems please try the email address in the original post under the 16th April edit.

You can bypass email size restrictions by sending the files through YouSendIt (or similar service). AFAIK you don't need to sign up to send a file -- size limit is 100MB. Email adressee will get a link to download the file via a browser interface.

I have to apologize / been going through something of a drought photography wise /
my pictures suck & life is complex & etc ...
i'll just hide for a while ..

Exactly my problem too. I've been agonising for the past month plus, and am still no closer to having anything I'm happy with :(

talj, I am sending as we speak the photo thru yousendit, but it does not let me send the info with it, so it will go on a separate email.

Hey Talj and Andi, I have just sent my submission to you using the YouSendIt method (Apologies if you get double notification, as that used both the fundraising one and the one listed earlier in the thread - I think there was some problems earlier with the fundraising one that might have been worked out and I had bounce back issues yesterday with the plus.net one....maybe because I tried sending png before realizing tif was needed ::embarrassed grin::

Andi and I were both over the moon with the response to our request for help but photos are slow coming in so we're getting a bit worried now! From Tuesday next week we'll be getting in touch with all those who signed up but have yet to email us, feel free to PM me before then if you want to let us know how things are going with your shot.

What I did was zip photos and info and send it together, by Yousendit. FINALLY got it done, for what they're worth... sigh...

It's probably not what you had in mind for the book, but if you're interesting in my hope challenge entry--it was in the top 20 and it might make someone smile.

I'd need to know if you're interested, so I can check with the child's mother to make sure it's ok (and I'm sure she'd be fine with it). If not, that's fine--you won't hurt my feelings.

Thank you Sheila and Erik, files and info received! I havent had chance to look at them yet but will email you once I do :)

If you send your image between now and Monday you may not hear from me till either Monday or Tuesday, as soon as I get chance to be at the PC for a while I'll make sure I email you all to confirm we have received your file(s).
