Anyone using Nik Viveza?
I did the trial a while ago, and I was really impressed. But after the trial we had to part ways because it was so dang expensive -- $250. You could find it discounted for $189 or so, but that was still too much.
Well, they are running a sale for $149, and you can find it further discounted in fact for $129, so I'm very tempted (though even that's still a bit pricey for something you can "technically" do without).
Nonetheless, I'm very tempted. It was a time saver, and I liked the results I was getting. What do you think? Anyone using it regularly? |

| I tried the trial also, nice program. Our local club has been doing presentations on the program and it is a very easy to use program that does everything you can do in color adjustment, contrast and tones that can be done in PS only a lot easier and faster. The point selection tool works great and allows you to shift small or large areas. Really cool program! |

| I use it pretty often and love it, plus they have the lightroom plugin for it now where you can open it directly from lightroom, make your adjustments, save and your right back in lightroom again, no need for PS unless you have work to do. All Nik's plugins will be available via a lightroom plugin within the next year, currently there are two-Viveza and Color Effex pro 3.o. |

| I have it but don't use it as much as Color Efex. Viveza doesn't seem to do anything you can't do in Photoshop, Photoshop just has better results. |

I would suggest downloading the Color Efex 3.0. It is by far the most awesomest program. The easy to use sliders and the U point technology is so easy to use. Much more powerful than PS tools. Plus there are I think 52 preset filters that you can use at the press of a button and then adjust. Much like Viveza. This one has many more options. I ,like you, used the trial option and now I am trying to accumulate the funds to buy the Color Efex 3.0.
If I recall correctly when I downloaded the trial it lasted for 90 days!
Nik is KICKASS!! |

| I use it--but I got the full nik suite for Aperture (or Lightroom) for $299. The photoshop version is pricier. But 299 for all of them is great. I also like Silver Efex, and the dfine noise reduction is good, as is the Raw Presharpening plugin. |
