Holy Crap!!! Do I have allot to learn about photography...LOL...
I'll give ya the long version I consider to be short. I started with a Kodak p850 about two years ago, then bumped up to a Sony a200 because at the time, the Sony was the cheapest @540.00$ as opposed to the Nikon D60, which had just been released at 759.99. Now, most people would have said wait about 6 months for the D60 to come down, but for me, that wasn't an option as I was taking a once in a lifetime trip to California (San Fran, and Napa) via private lear jet, and I wanted the camera in time for that. I'm not mentioning canon cause its not my gig (trying not to start the war). Well, anyway, my hobby has become a borderline obsession and seeing as how I got my bonus this month, the wifey okayed my upgrade to the D200. I had the a200 down pat, and get this, I actually had to read the instruction manual on the D200. The good news is I have plenty of room to grow with the D200, and my two photo friends shoot Nikon and are going to hook me up with more gear. Anyway, am I the only one whose ever felt a tad overwhelmed with the camera at first??? |
