Too easy to shoot fauna in a zoo or flora in a greenhouse. Wish they would have put a marker on that it should have been flora or fauna in one's own enviremont, then we all would have had something interesting to look at.
I'm sitting this one out.

Aww, c'mon... The zoo I kinda sorta agree with, but a GREENHOUSE? And you're from the NETHERLANDS? You've got ACRES of 'em, and they are cool places to work in. I mean, may's well write the rule against flower gardens too, eh? Nothing natural about most of those... Now, I *might* align myself with an attempt to ban *cut* flowers... ;-)

If you've seen one tulip, you've seen them all and the Netherlands might be a small country, yet I have to travel about 4 hours to see the tulip fields, I'm way down South, one step from the Belgium border in the midst of agricultural land, only brown dirt and bold trees at the moment and the rainworms and moles are still underground.
Besides that, my macro's always mess up.

I'm in for Flora.
My husband had a dream that I was getting a 7.7 for my score.
Let's hope he's right! haha

I'm in fauna, too. Girded for disappointment, though.

Well I went to the zoo and my photo could have been in one of last week's categories. That means probably a mediocre score. No wolf shots. I will be very happy if it scores above a six (not quite basic DPC stuff). I tried to get a bee but it flew away too soon. How about a bee on the nose of a hippo? Anybody got one of those? In the water with a multicolor sunset behind it and a HDR and long exposure to make the water silky?

I am also in for Fauna and very positive. I wonder how many fauna/flora shots will be there in Free Study this month. I am really torn apart deciding which one I should submit for Fauna and which one for Free Study.

With you on that one, there was a shot I really liked for Fauna at the location but when I got to the computer and put another one side by side, the other won so the first became my FS entry.

Everything good I've taken in the past month (this includes some good flora shots in the past week or so) has been in FILM!!! Argh.
