| Jeb my boy, you're not going to turn that portrait into something it's not just by adjusting it technically. If it doesn't capture what the mother thinks her daughter is about, it doesn't capture what the mother thinks her daughter is about. Open the lines of communication with the parent and do a re-shoot. |

I'm not trying to make the image something it's not. It's a fine picture of the young lady. Her mother just doesn't see it that way. It wasn't for pay or any specific reason, it was a semi-candid, spur of the moment thing and I was just floored when she said it didn't capture her.
I'm pretty decent with semi-candids, and I'm VERY happy with what I caught in Liza. I can't make her mother like it, and am not trying to....I was just *SO* stunned by her reaction I thought I'd just ask if y'all thought it was an okay shot.

I'm kind of disappointed with my 1 second score. 4.5. My commenters gave it a 6.1, I think I'll use that score. LOL!
Any TS'ers wanna tell me why it sucks so bad?

For what it's worth, ever since I've joined TS I have been less worried about my scores allowing me to enter more challenges and try new things.

Kelli, left you a comment. Matt, fret not. Enjoy the freedom of not-sucky scores and the ability to not worry about them.
As for mine, I really shouldn't have entered, but it really does work. Just no one but me can figure that out. Heh. Still debating on the whole "enter the FS" thing. Think I should go for having four scores under 5 showing at the same time in my last ten? I think I can do it! |

This is a important day for me. I have been smoke free of cigarettes for 50 days now. Just wanted to toot my own horn! In those 50 days I put my mom in a care center which was very stressfull but I did it with the support of the people around me and without cigarettes for that I thank all of you and you do know who you are. On another note I think that I'm sucking nicely with my rock song title. It is where I thought it would be, the masses don't like the way it is processed they don't comment but I would bet that is what it is.

Amachers - I've cracked ten at that game - it's cool.
BTW - what with things being hot on either side of the Afghan-Pakistani border - it's been very nice knowing you. (Even nicer to prolong that). |
