You guys need lessons in wishing luck.
After 3 hours in a gown laying on a stretcher they canceled my surgery due to too many emergency surgeries and a critical shortage of nurses.

Doesn't that mean it went well? You don't have any post surgery pain, right? LOL! Sorry to laugh, this happened to my unclce three times in a row. When do you go back? |

I don't know yet. I have to phone the surgeon's secretary. I'm not sure if I even want to go back. |

I tell you, sometimes one has to wonder why we bother. lol.
I woke up this morning with a mild head cold that seems to be progressing into a worse head cold, yet I was perfectly fine before I went into the hospital yesterday.
GARR!
Worst part is, I can't even sue! I'm Canadian! |

The trick to coming out of a hospital not sicker than you went in is a bottle of hand sanitizer! Really, use it every time you touch something in there. |

Although I'd like to know what that 'guarantee' involves. Do I get a coupon for a free lobotomy if they bump me again? |

That thought HAD entered my head, and I was picturing laying in the hospital for another 4 hours and then having them come in and start screaming APRIL FOOLS! and then sending me home again.
I don't think I could take that kind of rejection! |
