Hello everyone My name is Daniel Crymes im 24 years old I love taking pictures, but i only know very little about taking picture. I would love to know all the secrets and how to's . A guy named James Goss on a Ford Ranger website gave me this link, and i think this will be very helpful to me. Any help from you intermediate and experts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.
The camra im using right now is called a fuji film finepix e500 but i have a Nikon d40 on its way thanks to my girlfriend. I will let ya'll know when i receive it because i'll have the slightest clue on how too lol... Again thanks for the welcome, and allowing me to be here. I hope to learn lots and meet people and make some new friends.

Welcome to the madhouse. Spend lots of time browsing the tutorials and the threads and you'll learn stuff you didn't even know existed. Folks here are wonderful at helping out when asked, as well. (tho' I would suggest that before you start a thread asking a question you check the old threads. A few get a little exasperated with answering the same questions multiple times ;) )
Jump right in, most of us don't bite, and enjoy! :) |

Welcome! Settle in, grab a beverage and check things out. I'd suggest starting by going through the Browse link at the top right of your screen (under 'Photos'), and checking some things out, reading the comments, and getting acclimated.
Then, when you're feeling brave, post some of your own work for some critique/suggestions/etc.
Most of all, have fun and find a niche for yourself among the dozens of things you can find to do here. |

Welcome aboard. Step over the empties (the maid recently quit), pull up a seat and watch out for Slippy. He'll try to tell you he's in charge.

Welcome, if you really want to learn i would just enter as many challenges as you can, read all the critiques and also check out the 'learn' drop down up top......also, if i ever say something in the forums that seems completely rude or outlandish, please take note of my user name..(i've been on a bad run of people not picking up on my sarcasm lately, its getting me in trouble) |
