Ok, my photo is sitting in another window, waiting to be entered--and I can't think of a title! Anything I come up with is going to be lame (I can tell, because I either know one right away, or it never does come). Some people can come up with some incredibly awesome titles. I'm not one of them.
ok, just had to vent. Now I'm going to go back and stare at the entry screen for the next 1.3 hours until deadline. |

How about "Nude with Glasses" or "There are no righteous Wars", mundane titles in a foreign language or something here and gone tomorrow like "texting". When nothing comes, there's always something. |

I was thinking of "Armadillo" or "cross-eyed flat worm"
(it goes without saying, that it's not even from the animal kingdom) |

Don't show this to K10Dguy or he may use it to generate comments. Kidding ... I'm actually coming around to his style of comments ... and he's getting better at them. |

This is too funny! I may just have to use this to title all my entries. It can't hurt :-) |

You could always borrow a page from drAchoo's book.
Think about a really long sentence that you could think and that it, its your title. No need to worry about about anything else.
Just to get you started :

Gawd, that's deflating. I was doing this before Achoo was even a gleam in his father's eye. He learned to do this at my knee. Really...
A recent example, from January: "...And nature, from a simple recipe, has brewed a cup whose strength has dizzied me..."
Assorted others:
"Laughing at the demons of her past, Duckie returns to the slough where she was born."
"I Am My Work -- the Thorn that Weeps, & Holds the Sky Entire..."
"Pity the planet, all joy gone / from this sweet, volcanic cone..."
"Everything I Speak of Sowing (Everything I Try to Love)"
Hrmmph, credit where credit is due please, jejejeâ¢

The transcendent DPC title. Whole forum threads could profitably be expended in the pursuit of all this title, and its accompanying image, has to offer. If I had to select one image, and one title, that for me embodies the best of DPC, this would be the one. It also, in its original reception by the voters, embodies the worst of us as well. And that's quite an achievement. maybe the best of Robert's many imperishable contributions to this place. |
