I hardly know where to start. Opened WMP11 yesterday & it immediately began to do what looks suspiciously like creating its own copies of all my jpg files, or at least creating thumbnails. Yikes! First thing I did was move them all out of the My Documents folder, in case there was a default directory to search in & this was it.

I've been googling like mad on the subject & not finding anything useful yet, so I thought I would turn to my favorite go-to guys (the ones at DPC).

Is there any reason to avoid WMP? there are no DRM issues with jpg files, so I should be alright. Right? Will it destroy the exif date on my original jpg files? Any information would be very welcome. I hate feeling so paranoid!
