I hope everyone is okay too.

I have an entry in the Illuminative Subject, I am pretty happy with this one. Although I was fairly happy with my last entry and I got a lot of good comments but they weren't reflecting in the scores, fingers crossed I will do much better this week. I really don't want to come last again :(.

So... people's thoughts on "Abstract Motion" and "Language"? Anyone leaning one way or the other? I'm thinking I might go with abstract motion...

I'm really surprised that Sarah's is so low I thought that was perfect for that challenge. Vlado's and Kai's are also lower than I though but they might be getting some DNMC votes. Maybe peoples voting has been skewed by the 'Gems' challenge?

Of the new ones I think if you do a good 'Language' one your in for a chance. 'Abstract motion' is easy, but hard to do well and quite subjective. At moment I'm trying to think of a good 'visual' idea for language.

5.3 isn't so bad kaiser. Seems like both chalenges are pretty low scoring all round. I think voters are being stingy after being spoilt by all those gems last week.

I think I might finish about 5.8-5.9 this week if things hold. I have several hundred photos since Friday, none useful for the challenges. Closest I got were these motion, yes, but not quite abstract enough :(

Well, I think the early voters were just a little harsh, as I have now recovered up to 5.5150, which is much closer to where I thought it should be (well, still a bit lower than I was hoping for), but far more respectable than what it was at.

Hope everyone else has followed the trend.

No, I don't have anything for this week, except ideas. Something will magically appear prior to rollover though. It always does

I had an idea for Vlado or Tony that I posted in the Google Group (as a reply to Vlado's motion shots) - if anyone likes the idea feel free to use it - I just couldn't pull it off.

I'll be shooting my new idea shortly.
