Good day all,
I am doing a project for my wife based on Gary Chapman's book called:"the 5 Love Languages". My wife would like to have some photo's framed that depict the following :
1. Quality Time
2. Words of affirmation
3. Gifts
4. Acts of service
5. Physical Touch.
The photo's should depict children, as these should represent "our 5 love languages to our children."
Some thoughts that I have had so far:
1. Quality Time - Father and son playing chess
2. Words of affirmation - ????
3. Gifts - ????
4. Acts of service - Child standing at the basin washing dishes
5. Physical Touch.- Father with a new born baby lying on his chest

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I read that book a little over a year ago and found it very insightful.

As for your post, I'm not clear on what it is that you are asking. Do you want suggestions for #s 2 and 3, or are you asking for suggestions of where to acquire such photos?

2. Words of affirmation... one idea that comes to mind is a scene of a youngster engaged in a sporting activity and being cheered by teammates, fans or family.

3. Gifts... I can only come up with the obvious, ie the child being handed a wrapped gift. Lame I know.

As for sources, I would try a microstock website. Good luck with your project.

For #1 I'd choose something like building some craft together (a birdhouse?) -not only sharing time but sharing knowledge as well. Oh, or teaching to ride a bike? True quality time :)

3. Passing on some family heirloom?

4. Parent tying a child's shoe or lifting them to help reach something on a high shelf, or boosting them into a climbing tree

5. A great huge hug :)

I'm not sure what you are asking here....
but my thoughts on what I think you are asking are:

2. Words of Affirmation: Even for a child could there be no greater gift than a parent's wedding pledge.....or from a father, words of praise on a mutual project achieved.

3. Gifts ....is there not greater gift than mutual laughter....how did that happen, and what does it look like?

Hope this helps!

My wife and I have read that book. I didn’t realize it is even read in South Africa, must be a widespread publication.

I too am not sure what you are asking, but here are a few images of mine that might meet your needs.
