| I'm on my calibrated monitor at work and I can't see it. I can often see subtleties on this monitor that don't show up on others. All I can see is a little bit of grey pixelation between the branches, and that is probably not what you are talking about. |

The grey pixelation is probably snow and wind moving the branches as it was snowing pretty good when this was shot.

The last I heard, white noise isn't something you see.

| There can be no visible noise... because all of the pixels are exactly the same shade, namely R=252, G=248, B=247. So it is not white (255, 255, 255) but close to it. There are a few jpeg compression "flies" around the trees, that's all. |
