Goose
My local park is full of these but I can't determine what 'kind' of goose it is...

Very possible... found these photos and there are some that look like this in the park also... maybe the solid white are a different sex?

Google led me (eventually) to this site for White Chinese Geese. They look pretty much like your photograph.

They have been so domesticated that the may be hybred from their original look, But I think they originally are native to Asia (China). Van |

I just added this as a 2004 project.. i wanna see how many different species of birds i can photograph during the year... my goal is 50.

you should, in your area, have approx. 400 species between the hills and ocean. Let me know if you need any Identifications. Good luck. Van |

Unfortunatley, I don't. I don't paricularly hope to get print worthy shots... just shots in general :) It's just a for-fun project that will keep me outside more :)
