Oh my... I LOVE it. The house is such an inviting haven, yet the cold still looks so peaceful. And the little details, such as the clouds, kept me looking deeper. A very lovely shot..... *contented sigh*

That's a beautiful shot, Matt. Love the moon in it, too! Very comforting.

I'm still waiting for Tourism Victoria to send the books I requested that I found my shot in. With my luck by the time they send them they'll send the 09 not the 08.

HEY! Where's Rox?? I just realised I haven't seen her in a while either! :(

But I can say I was published!! :P

James is wanting to go to bed. (And I know the minute I do, this place will start rockin')

I was just thinking of hitting the hot tub for a while, try to get the neck relaxed a bit.

So anyways, I rebuilt life. Have an amazing girlfreind, we live together, I adopted her daughter. Still fighting for custody of my son, the one conceived one day before I found out about my exwifes double life. Karma has struck, my son looks nothing like my exwife and totally like me...

I could use a hot cabana boy in a loincloth about now to work on my neck! it's still screwed up from my shoulder!! (And as long as I use a 'puter at work and at home...I don't see the muscles getting the rest they need.)

Bottoms up, kiddies....I'll have to drink with ya'll tomorrow...we could resume prior to the Super Bowl. :) I'll be in the kitchen!

nighty-night!! (James already went to bed, lol!)

Matt, he's beautiful! Those eyes, that curly hair... he's gonna have the girls all over him by kindergarten :D

Yup, he's definitely worth fighting for. Then again, all children are :)

And once you win the custody fight, life will be good and the crap will be behind you :)

Got his first steps a couple of weeks ago.

I do wish his mom didn't cute his hair so short. Heres what he looked like before the cut:

Those make me literally laugh out loud. He's having such a blast in the first one, and I totally love the expression in the second. It almost reminds me of a basset hound, and I never could resist bassets :)

Such a cutey! Love those curls!

This is why I love this thread. One doesn't always want to start a whole new thread, but we all have stuff we'd like to share. This one gives us a place to do that :)

I had a Basset hound once his name was flash...

Course my favorite pet I have ever had, and still have is this fella:

His name is Cracker, Crazy white boy that doesn't listen to a damn thing. Totally deaf, green and blue eye. About as awesome cat possible, big guy, 24lbs, can stretch from the floor to the counter top. He thunders when he runs...
02/01/2009 02:17:52 AM · #3321
OMG, that's gotta be one of the best shots of a basset I've ever seen. I'm still laughing. Too damned cute! And Flash... lol, perfect :D

That shot of Cracker should be on pet calendars everywhere. It's totally beautiful... just stunning.
Did you know that blue-eyed white cats are very often deaf? We used to have one that looked like yours living next door in an apartment building. It was always straining its head around the balcony dividers for petting. It was a real sweetheart :)

*sigh* I miss my pets... thank you for making me smile with yours :D

Okay, my shoulder is demanding I give it a break *muttergrumble* I guess that's it for me for tonight :(

Glad you dropped in, Matt, and hope you'll make this your regular hangout :)

Wow! That was quite the GTG!! I dunno if it was a party... but hey, I invited all the regulars. Maybe I should have invited some newbies...

Sorry I got lost. That maze out back has quite grown up and it seems you can get in but you can't get back out. I ended up dialing nineoneone and they brought a chainsaw and cut half the maze down (sorry maze goers) to get me out but that wasn't till around 7 this morning. It's cold out there!!!!
