Wow, I missed the pet show! :( Matt has some gorgeous pets and beautiful shots of them!
One of my (older) fraternity brothers (Sigma Nu) had a bassett hound named flash (and I swear the guys's name was Matt)
Do I know you........lol!
Love the kitties, too!

Sorry I missed the party, Some of you may have heard about a horrific fire here last week where a man and 3 other women were trapped in a house fire in a basement suite. Well It turns out I'm quite close to one of his aunts that I happen to work with. Anyway so far the man and 3 of the women have passed on and the third AFAIK is still in critical condition. The sad part was there were bars on the windows that were solidly bolted to the windows and the fire detectors were not working :(

Anyway since the family was all together they invited me to their celebration of his life and also had asked if I could take some family portraits as they are from all over and never get everyone together so there was no way I could say no to them as the lady I work with and her bother have been nothing but awesome friends over the past several months.

So thats the scoop, just figured Id chime in with an update.

Heres one of the stories from a local paper...

I was quite honored that they asked me to shoot the family and was more than happy to do it. The father had told me that John was supposed to go down to south America in March to help build homes and set up PC networks for schools on a volunteer basis as he said in a text that he "just wanted to do some good with his life..." He was and incredible man to say the least...

IM bak for the moment and wrecked in a good way :)

I'm $1500 less in debt, Finally got my car back and the other Ins. Co confirmed finally that the other numbnut was at fault and covered my deductibles $1000, the rental car $800 and the repairs to my car $6700, OO and I only had to pay $25 for the chip I got in the window of the rental. I'm on a happy drink tonight and I'm convinced that all this great news is I had a short but good talk with a dear sweet friend of mine this afternoon :) you know who you are :D thanks girl *HUGS!!*
