So I can check it out and see, if you're interested. The liquor store's at the mall my daughter works at so I'm back and forth all the time, driving her.

Sooo... is there anything in that hot tub/beer cooler besides beer?

Hey Matthew..welcome to the "very tame at the moment" bar. :)
I think we should order a bottle of Absynthe for the bar...what do you guys think? A little Green Fairy to wash away the woes of the day?

(We'll have to hide it from _eug)

We'll just take Eug's glasses away, he'll never find it then :D

:) Corona is a aquired taste, like after a couple they taste good..
I did try something today that I did like, oil painting. Never painted before and it turned out pretty cool.

Sure...if you're there anyway...see how 'spensive the stuff is. (yikes!)

As for the hot tub..I'm not sure. I think Ken only put beer in there. BUT, we've still got scotch and all the other stuff on the shelf.

Very cool! Oils are very different to use, but the results are so nice! Enjoy the new found pass time! I haven't painted in years!
(Oh wait, I painted the walls!!!!!) :P

Ok question for ya then, how long does it take to dry? I have it up on top of the fridge so the cats don't get to it.
01/31/2009 11:51:22 PM · #3258
I can't draw or paint. That's why I tried photography.
At least once in a while I can actually sorta create what I see in my mind, albeit VERY rarely :)

You should take a pic of your painting and share it with us, kay? :D

I'm trying to edit a couple shots I took today for "grey". *I* like 'em, which means they're not DPC friendly, of course :)
01/31/2009 11:54:04 PM · #3260
Yes, take a picture of your painting! We'd love to see.
As for the drying...depends on how thick you painted it. It will take a day or two at least. (Cat hair will give is texture...muahahaha.)

Of course the only day it was foggy here, it was on my way to work!
I haven't shot or edited anything new lately. I'm a load...

Cool picture. Because there is so much blue and blue dries a bit slower, it might take awhile. I found this link for you. might help!

Neat! The moon reflection reminds me of chalk or pastel work :)
02/01/2009 12:01:58 AM · #3265
Here is a bit more info. :)More oil paint info.
So, who's doing shots??
02/01/2009 12:03:23 AM · #3266
Did Ken leave his tray of jello shooters? I could go for those..... mmmmm.......
02/01/2009 12:04:38 AM · #3267
I think they are in the walk-in cooler. Bring me one, too! :P
02/01/2009 12:09:09 AM · #3268
Is that what we're calling the back alley now? The "walk-in cooler"?
02/01/2009 12:09:59 AM · #3269
Ummmm.... what flavour is mud-coloured jello? Some of these worry me....
02/01/2009 12:10:00 AM · #3270
Thanks for the link! I used lots of Phthalo blue, and Prussian blue. The whole thing was first covered with Titanium white, so that drys slow. So a week or 2... Might havta hide it for a while...
02/01/2009 12:10:38 AM · #3271
OMG, a week or two?? I'd NEVER have the patience for oil painting, then!
02/01/2009 12:12:03 AM · #3272
Oh, Matt?
(snickers)...have you (nudges Sheilz and giggles)..have you seen the billiards tables yet?
You go through the door on your left in the hallway. :D

Acrylics aren't bad. :)
Oils are very nice though.
02/01/2009 12:16:22 AM · #3274
