Seems nobody is doing well. I guess it'll be a low scorer, unless people with high scores don't converse in the forums. I'm still kinda shocked.

Yup about as expected... this tends to be what I score on most entries.... low 6's high 5's But hey a FAVE!

You know though Judy it seems odd to me to lead with a 6.1. Of course the way voters are we will be seeing score 5 ribbons in a few years! I'll bet there are some closet 6.8ers out there that are keeping their secrets! But hey if it just so happens that there aren't and I ribbon.... YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! Lol I had a goal to do it in a year after my first submission. and I've got a couple months left to make at happen!

Congrats Patrick because it seems that your scores tend to be in the "high side" in a lot of people's minds and the fact that you're fairly "new" to DPC to be getting the higher scores! :) Thumbs up!!!

As Jutilda has said...the rest of us are in tow...way behind! :(

Didn't come too far from that in the "Lucky" challenge. My 5.97 came in 4th. The only 6+ ratings were the 3 ribbons.

My belief is the preferences are beginning to diversify and that is reflected in compression of the score range.

You have to throw in a little bit of over-saturation into that mix as well.

I'm already oversaturated with low votes. One comment from someone who thought my composition was odd. Oh, well, I knew this was not going to be one of my high scorers.

still holding a stable 6.15.

Yeah I score high enough to stay ahead of the pack but I just don't ribbon. My captivating was the closet I've ever came at 8th place :)

But wow really a 5.9 in 4th huh... How funny. I love this site's oddities

Actually, that score is doing pretty well in most challenges. Because of the averages of opinions, about half to 2/3 of most challenge entries seem to fall in the 5's. That kind of score can often be in the top 20.

This one started sooooo bad at 5.00. It has been climbing ever since. Not a ribbon contender, but I am pleased it has made it above 5. Thanks for the comments, they really do help.

Man, I'd love for that to happen. I've never had a score start bad and just keep climbing. That must be like having a birthday party where nobody shows up, but then surprises you with little gifts for the rest of the week.
