So far, K10DGuy's rejection is the best. Tears. Literal tears of laughter. I think that particular write-up should be appended to the photograph itself. Priceless.

I like the overall artsy feel of it. I could easily see it selling for $100,000 in a gallery... if you were famous, which you are not so FAIL.

The overall mood is good - reminds me a lot of my childhood. Part of me thinks you should use a light source next time, part of me thinks it's perfect the way it is. I can't decide so I guess I FAIL.

I don't like the aspect ratio. Try something more exciting next time. It's ok to crop a picture to make it better.

This was a close one. There's never been a photo I've wanted to accept more. Maybe post some of the outtakes on this one, you are so close. Sadly, I have no other choice but to reject it though.

Quite right too! It was an idea stolen from me:)) Mine has a better crop, perfect exposure and a good model.

Shallow DoF is the biggest problem with this. If you didn't use a tripod, I'd go back and try it again with a smaller aperture and longer exposure. The tip of the "rocket" being soft is the worst part, but I'd also like to see more car texture too. This picture should largely be about texture.

The shadow underneath it seems a bit harsh as well and the contrast between the hood and the sky seems to have a slight line - I'd work on processing that a bit more.

The whole picture feels a bit cramped too. Give somewhere for the rocket to go. As it is, with a fairly square crop, it seems like you are just beating the viewer over the head with what you want them to look at. Give them a little option and let them "discover" the beauty of your photograph.

Lastly the camera angle seems a little off. I think it'd be better rotated right 5-10 degrees.

Hence, inevitably, your photo has been rejected.

(side note: I know this response isn't as "funny" as the other ones but this thread was actually intended to be somewhat serious with a little snarky thrown in. Some photos just merit more snarky than others. All comments (snarky or not) are intended to have some truth mixed in with them and I hope would be found somewhat helpful. In some instances you may already know what's "wrong" with your photo - but sometimes it's good to be said aloud so everyone else can know too.)

I feel rejected nonetheless, and didn't have to go anywhere else to get it. I have to credit you for truth in advertising!

I don't need to post an image here to be rejected. All I need to do is enter another challenge! ;-)

Just remember if Jesus takes anything you say personally, its not my fault.

Well that's good, nothing warms my heart like the thought that I can maybe, if I try really hard, make at least one person feel rejected each day.

More critiques coming soon...

(feel free to jump in an critique other images posted here as well)

I hope not, it made me laugh out loud, causing several people at work to shoot me annoyed glances. Here's mine

I don't know anything about emorgans' dog. This dog lives in Montana.
