		| | Dear DPCers,
I know some of you are doing it but I don't know how.
Using multi-flash I want to mount my flash units on a couple of old tripods I have.
Trouble is, I cannot find any sensible solutions that aren't in the hundreds of dollars, pounds or euros.
Surely there must be some simple plastic things with a tripod screw thread one side and a standard hot shoe the other.

 Any solutions you know of?

 Thanks,
 Glenn

		| | the canon flashes come with a little plastic foot/stand. on the bottom is a threaded hole - the screw on the tripod should match the hole in the foot/stand....
so there is a cheap plastic thing that does what you are asking about ;)

		| | Here's the cheapist solution I could find if you dont have the mini stand soup mentioned. Check the reviews for the actual appearance, the photo at the top of the page is wrong. |

		| | Nick,
This looks like just the ticket.
 Well spotted.
I have Metz flashes and they are not so kind as to provide a table stand.
 Thanks for the feedback.

		| | I was going to suggest one of these as well. I got a couple of them laying around here that I found at a rummage sale a couple of years ago, I Wish I could find them because I have been wanting to try something with my speed lights. I am pretty sure my 3 yearold probably knows where they are but he ain't talkin.

They've usually got what the aspiring Strobist needs to get going.
