NOT TO PROTEST TO LOUD!!! but, (you knew there would be a but, go on admit it you knew) I had to jump through hoops and my initiation was a painful process of thought and research that

lasted hours and hours that lead into days and days because I had the gigantic task of stumping Nikonjeb by way of having to tell him something he didn't know about cars.

Not an easy task by any stretch of the imagination. I had sleepless nights because fearless leader gave me the assignment and then went away for a while and on top of that Jeb decided to

take a short break because he was busy and wasn't on line for a few days. All of this happened when I was sitting waiting to hear from either one of them. Coincidence I think NOT.

(Personally I think fearless leader told him to lay low and make me sweat it out for a while)

That being said, I never thought of the straight forward approach of just asking to be allowed to into this crazy place, I lurked around for the better part of a year and then I met Ernie

( basssman7) and he recommended me to our fearless leader and the task was set. Man I was put through hell and all I had to do was drop in and ask. I think we're getting soft.

Fearless leader, if you have run out of ideas I have some really, really good ones and if they do things right and are really, really careful their eyebrows will grow back :)

MAX!

It was fun to make you sweat it out for awhile though Max. ;) And yes, I do still follow this thread, even though I am no longer an official suckie..or sucker...or whatever you folks are. lol

Of all the things I was a part of when with TS, I think convincing you to join was my finest moment. You are a credit to TS and DPC as a whole. (and I am actually serious about that...)

I have come to the conclusion I will not be able to accomplish this as a one fingered typist that is also a piss-poor spellerâ€Â¦Ã¢€Â¦Ã¢€Â¦Ã¢€Â¦Ã¢€Â¦Ã¢€Â¦answer

Wants me to put in a zipcode. Is it a voice recognition typing program?

I have no clue why it would ask for a zip, hell it's only the Staples web site. But yes it's Dragon Naturally Speaking 10.

It puts that request in there so you get your local store's sales info, I think. I use my Mom's zip code. Feel free to stick in 26101, which is Parkersburg, WV, which is not my Mom's zip code but where I went to high school. Should screw with their demographics nicely.

Deb I LOVE the way you think :)

Oh, and THANK YOU for the lovely comment on my Winter Picnic photo from the recent Free study challenge. You made my day.

Thanks for the great comments on my FS Deb & Deb! LOL! Sometimes I feel like I must be blind, since no one else ever sees what I see. But you both saw, so thank you!

Thanks for sharing those, Brian! I'd gone looking in your portfolio for more after seeing your FS entry. Looks like everyone had a great time - what a heckuva wedding!

Thanks Deb, The ceremony was to be held out in the open on the cliffs overlooking the ocean, but unfortunately it started raining 30 minutes before, nothing could dampen this wedding and it was all moved down to the resort and only caused a minor 1hr hiccup.
