Anyone else seen this? If you thought the off-white canon lenses caught some attention, this is bound to turn a couple more heads. It's kinda cool I think.

What's wrong with camera manufacturers? I hope this (and Nikon's lame Black Gold D60) tank. >=P Mu ha ha!
... guess I woke up on the wrong side of the bed today.
ETA: Also noticed this pimped gold pentax linked from the above.

Hammer a Canon L glass on the front, and you have an all white setup.
Perhaps Pentax can turn their attention to a K2D, instead of pratting about with white bodies etc. |

| That site opened up over a dozen tabs in my window and I could not close them, had to go into the task manager and shut down IE. |

| Just get some red nail polish, paint a thin red ring on the end of that lens and you have a pro camera. |

| I think Apple started the trend. High tech white will be the trendy look for a while. Once everyone adopts it and it become commonplace, the trend will start shifting. Think paisley will ever come back? |

No problems here, but then I use Firefox, with a script blocker installed and many known adware sites cut off in my hosts file. I rarely even know when a web site I visit is trying to do such things. |

I don't think I like it. To be honest, it reminds me too much of my hand mixer's color and texture. :/

| I hope the pictures was not taken with the camera(s) in question. IMO there is a lot of noise in each picture. |

| hmmm... Pentax will learn soon to offer a black version, too, if they want this to be a serious camera--not for style or such reasons, but purely practical. In cases where you might be dealing with reflections from the subject, you don't want a white frakkin camera body. They aren't black for giggles, there is a reason. |

The black one has been on sale before the announcement of the limited edition white version. In Japan the KM/K2000 is marketed toward women and there's a rumor of a pink version.

is that a good thing ?
seems you might be overly confident in the software you're running - rather than confident in your choice of browsing habits...

I've always thought a white camera made sense, actually, as far as reflectivity to combat heat gain... I think it looks kinda cool, myself, though it's not for me. The biggest problem would be having to junk all your old, black Pentax glass, and praying they made everuthing you love in a shiny, white version as well :-)
