Updating with my theme: photo illustration
A type of computer art that begins with a digitized photograph. Using special image enhancement software, the photographer can then apply a variety of special effects to transform the photo into anything the photographer likes :) |

| I'd like to join also ... still deciding on a theme though ... I should choose "people" because I need to focus on that side of my photography, but I'm not sure if I can find 52 willing subjects or not ... I'll pick a theme in the next day or so and update my post |

| I'd like to join. I have had a tough time in the past with the photo-a-day projects but believe I can handle one a week. I'm not sure on a theme yet as I'll be changing some equipment soon and that may change my interest in subjects. |

Melethia - You take some fantastic candids (this one  comes to mind). How about that for a theme? |
I was indeed thinking of doing candids. I enjoy shooting them and don't do it as often as I'd like, since DPC kinda hates candids. So candids it is!

| I am definitely in for a 2008 photo-a-week, still have to decide on a theme though. After this year's portrait-a-week I would like to do something less challenging :) Black & white is an option. I also considered doing landscape, but trying to get a decent landscape each week might be a bit demanding with my varsity schedule, that and we get lots of rain in the winter. |

Since the suburbs got a bad rap in the "Suburban" challenge and I failed to take a decent picture for it even though I live in the burbs, I will choose "Suburban Life" as my topic and attempt to show the beauty, humor, and yes, 'boringness' of this slice of the world.

This year I made my week Monday through Sunday, but you can do otherwise if you wish. |
