This sounds like fun...
After this week how about a year of Bokehs (just kidding)

| Ok, I'm in. I did a PAD in 06 but didn't quite make it. And have failed miserably at keeping up with my PAW for 07 and 08. I'll try again at the shallow dof theme, though not all photos may fit the category. Here's the link I'll be using Photo a Week Project - Shallow DOF. |

Okay, I've decided that's much too easy of a theme since I photograph him all the time, and I want to try and stretch myself a little with this challenge. I'm going to go with Local Flora instead. I think it will be neat to see (and document!) what blooms and changes throughout the year. Plus, since I know very little about plants, I'm hoping I may learn a thing or two. :)

Finally decided my subject, "Household Macros", macro photographs of every day objects.
If I get bored with that I may expand out to other macros, but I'll see how I go!

I'd like to join if I may. I have some trouble keeping up with comments and long term side challenges because of my dialup, but I did the FSM for two years now so I'll commit to this and carry through.......if you'll have me.
ETA: Thematically.....central Pennsylvania. I know that's kinda vague, but you'll see what I mean once I get going.

i'm going to have a go at this, not been round the site for a while but i'm going to renew my membership before this starts so this would be fun.
my theme will be 50mm - will post 52 images taken at the 50mm focal length - will try and use 50mm 1.7 but if not the 50mm on my normal zoom.
- ETA - ok decided to go for a more general theme, i really want to do this for the year, so i'll be posting photos that i've processed - but taken that week, there for not much pressure to get a cracker and can keep up with the processing skills no matter what as well as hopefuly shooting more as i want to enter at least 2 challenges a month, sorry this is turning into a life story post so i'll shut up now :)

| Been thinking about it, and I'd also like to join you all. My photo theme will be life in the Shenandoah Valley. Not sure yet where that will lead, maybe landscapes or journalistic, or who knows what else. I am looking forward to seeing everyone's work! |
