Just a thought for those of you who have not received any snow yet, we have plenty. Just send me a self addressed stamped cooler and I'll fill it up and send you your very own snow, wouldn't that be nice and you would be performing a service to our community by giving us more space to put more snow :)

MAX!

Hehe - I see you're in Orillia - right in the middle of the snow belt! Lived there myself when working out of HQ for Ontario Provincial Police (lived in Lagoon City). And I totally agree that you need somewhere to put all the snow :)

Yeah, another 4 inches or so here today, more to come, but at least it got up to freezing today. Supposed to drop again tomorrow :(

SNNOOOWWWW!!!!...in the bay area! (CA) I really really wanted to go take pics yesterday when it was actually snowing but once I scraped the ice off my windshield (another rareity) I tried to start my car and all it did was go "tic tic tic tic tic." Me = "@#%$!!!" yeah, my battery died :( I didn't think there would be any snow left today cuz it was super clear and sunny but I went up into the hills anyway and there it was! beautiful sparkely snow! A little crunchy, but still snow! I could only stay for about 30 mins but I took some shots and I'm gonna submit a couple to the news station to see if they'll put one on the 11 o'clock news. Wish me luck!

Okay, enough already!! Yesterday warmed up to just freezing, so of course we got another 5 inches. Today the temperature's dropped again and they're forecasting up to 8 inches more before now and Christmas.

Seattle, take your garbage back! :P

*grumble-having to thaw the hummy-feeder before I'm even dressed-mutter*

Somebody's not listening :(

They're now calling for another 15-20cm overnight, with winds to 90km. Sounds almost like a blizzard to me...

Becky and Keith both had the same response; "How are you going to catch 'em to put the sweaters on?"

I have 3 hills to contend with, including the driveway, in the 3 blocks to the main road. And THAT road goes immediately steeply down from the intersection. Tobogganning, anyone?

Well, that's easy! The poor things haven't the energy to flap their litte wings a bazillion times a minute to fly, so should be easy to nab em with a butterfly net :-)

Oh, he's still got plenty of energy... enough to yell at me that his feeder's frozen AGAIN! Man, he's a mouthy li'l thing...

Or, I suppose, to mention that we're going skiing in Crested Butte, Colorado for a week. 46" in the past 7 days!

I'd take the Caribbean, thanks. It started snowing about 4 hours ago, has averaged an inch an hour, and is coming down harder than ever.
City of Gardens, BAH!!
