| Out of curiosity, is there a way to request a validation on a photo after voting has finished? |

Is it your own?
I guess you would just contact SC through the Help > Contact Us option on the menubar. Can't say I've ever done it though. |

I think there's a 7-day window, use the "contact us" link. I'm pretty sure after 7 days you can't do it, but I've been known to be wrong.
