Those commercials are the most brilliantly misleading and erroneous advertisements to ever hit television.

The most brilliant advertisement ever is Diamond Shreddies.

Just like people said McCain was a "word" that they were sick of. I think its fair to say that people can be sick of hearing about elections and in particular Obama because he was the one elected, so his names been all over everything.

I'm sick of hearing any political words personally.

I just heard mine this am after some asshat ran into the side of my car, first thing he says, "looks like its a little slippery this morning" OMG do ya think, we have only had close to 18 inches of snow over the past week and a half and its only been -25C to -40C during that time so I can see how he might have been confused as to why there was 3" plus may have been ICE on the road.

that's a bit like someone using "how are you?" as a greeting without actually meaning to ask how are you.

That's my personal pet peeve and I wish it would stop TODAY! :|

Or when I started to work in New York and greeted my new collegue in a more typical Canadian way with "How's it goin'" and he answered "What's goin' on?" LOL It seems like EVERYONE in New York says that!

well, after "asking" how someone is doing, please, just make sure to pause and listen to his reply before moving on to other topic, else it could come across as somewhat rude. i still remember my earlier encounters with caucasians, and they like to greet me with "how are you?" and of course i try to answer him. but before my answer get said, he would have talked about other things. i find that a little rude then, but now i know that it wasnt meant as a question, but a mere greeting.

The term that continues to annoy me is when someone says "I could care less". When if fact they are trying to say that they coundn't care less. If you "could care less" means that you do care. If you "couldn't care less" then that means that you do not care at all.

Agreed. :)

I should have included McCain in my post too but the emphasis that I wanted to put forward was that we shouldn't hate on people, period.
