But I have a comment that I very much agree with and appreciate. It was above a 4.9 (almost 5!) earlier, but as expected it fell a bit. So much for my PB last week, guess it was a fluke not a trend! :P |

Don't worry about it Covert-
1) Your score is looking good so far! I'm pretty new here and I've come to realize that 10 is unachievable... dpc tends not to operate on an actual 1-10 scale... seems more like a 2-8 scale- where 8 is the new 10 (impossible to be perfect) - 7's are top notch photos... so a 5.6 is a great score for a first entry!!!
2) Waiting for comments can be frustrating- there's not a whole lot of consistent constructive criticism... 2 weeks ago I had over 200 views during voting and not a single comment... this week I have 3 helpful comments already... haha...

Don't worry about it Covert-
1) Your score is looking good so far! agreed....
join challenges for fun, the comments, and the learning experience. I have finished in the upper 5s and lower 6s lately, and I was nowhere close when I started.

Edit: Also, after looking at your profile statement you are right on track. I finally became a paying member after I started looking at the profiles of the strongest members of the site. What is great about that is if you look back a few years in their profile, you'll see an amazing improvement in almost every case. And... if you have questions, post them in the forums--I haven't been to a more helpful, friendly online community. If I have a question, I'll post it, and it is usually answered by at least 4 people in an hour or two.

I went down a bit. Was hoping for better but I am still happy it is in the 5s. My next goal or thing is to get in the 6s and I am hoping to do that with the Personification III challenge. I was the 2nd in and I love it but will the voters? I can see it is not easy to predict because I loved this one to. :=) |
