No, I'm 5 hours south of Rainier. I wish so. My mom sent me the link. Some of her paragliding friends saw them. |

I got to see them, but couldn't take any decent photos.
I was standing up on a crowded bus back home from Seattle, then stuck behind some ugly signs and buildings waiting for the car to be repaired.
When I finally got away from there, it was dark.
But they sure looked cool!

I saw them during my commute, but was late for a meeting. Grrrr...
It was really weird - they looked almost fake (as they do in the pics, but obviously on a very grand scale).
We've definitely had some cool skies over the past few weeks.
You'd think I'd have had time to get something into sunrise/sunset :o( |

They're pretty amazing, for sure.
There are often amzing cloud forms around Mt Fuji, too. |
