So I have a thesis (more of a project really) due this week. 150 pages of Computer Information System mayhem. I just completed 20 pages of use case descriptions, so I only have about 130 pages to go...
I am betting that I only get 70 pages done. There is just no way I am going to get 150 pages written this week. |

| It has to be APA format. 12 pt, Times New Roman all of that jive. I do get to double space, and about 35 pages of it will be UML diagrams and some other stuff so it isn't all text. I have the speech recognition working in high gear however. |

Lots of block quotes, lots of them. Boldface helps too. Also $5 at the end to seal the deal.

As for an added distraction, put a nude centerfold in the thesis of a person of the opposite sex than your professor.

Some of my buddies did that to the conductor one time in Wind Ensemble, during a concert.
He flipped the page of the score and there was a woman in all of her glory. He shot a look at the person who did it (we never figured out how he knew) and never missed a beat. :)
My motto in college was -- If there is time to sleep, you've got time to get it done.
It is still my motto, to some degree, I just "survived" better at 22 than at 38. :) |

Hahaaaaaaaaaaaaaa that is such a great story!!! I live by that motto at the moment...
@Jason: Say the same thing backwards and forwards, it takes up twice as much space. It's hard to do though, you have to be really inventive in the way you say it backwards after you say it forwards so the prof doesn't catch on that you're just typing stuff to take up space and get more pages.
(hehehe) |

My friend had to write an enormous paper that he was pretty sure the prof was never going to read fully, so he fluffed out the middle third with greek text, which is the nonsense word that you use as a placeholder when doing layout.
He got his paper back with a big red A+. |

| Well I am on Page 40. I should be at page 50 by 1:30 Mountain. I am shooting for 70 which should be plenty. I am never going to hit 150 no matter how hard I try. There just isn't enough to say to fill up 80 extra pages. |

| If you put the text in size 12.5 and then make all the periods size 16, you'll add a whole slew of extra pages, and no one will be able to tell. Don't ask me why the periods add so much, but somehow they do. Good luck! |

I remember a long time ago I put a picture of the person I was writing about in a paper and it just freaked the professor out. He didn't have a clue how I was able to do it (this wasn't even that long ago 1996). Needless to say I didn't really write a lot for that paper.
I actually have homework that was due last night that I haven't done yet. *sigh* I'm really slacking on my Masters Degree. |

I am stalled out on page 49. I think I can somehow muster up the strength to get to page 60 tonight. My eyeballs are about to pop out of my head and my body is stiff from not moving from the "typing position". I am using the voice recognition for a large part of the typing which is helping...God Bless Vista.
GO BRONCOS!

Well if my Thesis wasn't enough I also had a term paper for another class. I am 20 pages single spaced into that one. I should finish that up today.
Then I need about 20-25 more pages for my final thesis and I will be done. I only have a few courses left that don't start until spring, so I will get to start my Masters in a few weeks. Since they were not offering those courses right away they decided to let me take my masters before my other degree is finished. So that is cool. |

| Done. Didn't hit 150 pages, but I did finish up to the point that I call it complete. I also completed another project this same week that was 30 pages. I have never typed so much in my life. |
