Thank you for contacting Hallmark,
We accept stateside and international orders as long as the delivery address and billing address are located within the United States. Due to customs and tax issues, we are unable to ship outside the United States at this time. If you have an alternate mailing address located in the United States that you can provide, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you.
We accept payment via U.S. Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express. Unfortunately we are not able to accept payment via credit cards outside the U.S.
If you need further information, please go to Hallmark.com and click Help to read our frequently asked questions.
We apologize we are not able to give you the type of service you expected.
Thanks,
Hallmark Consumer Care

Why do you discriminate against foreigners? It seems pretty ignorant to limit your online business to Yanks only. We live in a little third-world country called Canada, but have some relatives fortunate enough to live in the centre of the world, USA.
We took the time to put together a personalized, photo Christmas card and enter half a dozen addresses of our elite Yankee relatives to have it mailed to, only to have our VISA denied in the payment stage because we aren't so bloody fortunate to have a US address.
I don't expect Americans to be considerate, but here's a tip. Make a note on your website to let foreigners know that their business is not wanted, then the poor suckers won't have to waste their time on your site only to be put off during the payment stage.
Now we have to keep our $17 lousy US dollars in Canada.
P.S. You suck at hockey.

"Due to customs and tax issues"......right, a big company like Hallmark can't ship outside the US when other much smaller companies are doing it all the time? Lazy excuse. |

Ya! My wife and I sat down and took the time to design a card online. Photo and text. Then we took the time to enter all of our relatives' addresses so Hallmark could mail direct, as offered. Then, after all of that, we couldn't pay! .... fucktards!

But it's a US site, in the US, mailing to our US relatives.
I eat at restaurants in the US and use my credit card with no problem.

What's an "asshat"? Moreover, how is it pronounced? "Ash ats" or "ass hats"?
Edit: or possibly "As shats".

They should change their tagline to:
"Hallmark. When you care enough to send the very best... unless you're a Canuck!" |

The Sharks have 11 Canadians on their roster, and only 4 Americans. They are then rounded out with 2 Germans, 2 Czechs, 2 Russians, and a Swede. |

Hockey and basketball seem to be leading the way in showing the benefits of diversity and working together with mutual tolerance/respect. Perhaps if we had more "commissioners" instead of Presidents/PMs we could stop blowing each other up ... :-( |

Oh yea, Detroit! :P
Sure, they're from all over, but they sure seem to play best when they're in Michigan. ;D |

LOL!!!
I agree, a little ridiculous that you can't send them because of the billing address.
That's the worst, when you're about to complete an online order only to find out they don't ship to Canada. Boo. |

Especially idiotic in this case, as they'd be shipping from the USA to the USA.
>:-(
I went out and bought a couple of packs of blank cards and printed them up on my Canon i9900 and the quality is perfect. I prefer having complete control anyway. It always makes me nervous giving something to a third party to do without my QC.
