Ever since rollover the site's been really bogged down for me. This is also the fastest I've ever gotten 20 votes on one of my images. Is it possible that the Masters challenge has been so eagerly awaited that hordes of DPCers are clogging the halls as they struggle to get a peek at these images?
It's sort of food for thought, IMO :-)

I don't know if that's the answer, but it's definitely sluggish! |

ummm m... .gee... .Yours must be awesome. I've had one view and one vote. It was a 4.0.
Sigh.
It's gonna be a LONG week...

Oh good, I was just trying to reset my internet connection! However, seems to have speeded up again. Perhaps it was doing some site maintenance. I think everyone is definitely looking at the Masters. Two views only on the FS and no votes. |

I was one of those that had to go thru and just take a look and it sure was slow but it does seem a bit more speedy now. I will go back and vote this week, there were so many super images! |

I believe the Masters voting did slow it down, although there were two other new challenges. It's speedy now, probably because most of us are starting to go to bed.

Less than 48 hours into voting, my "votes received" on Masters FS just passed 200. The regular monthly FS, by way of contrast, has received 57 votes thus far.
This seems to be a VERY popular challenge amongst the voters...

There is some top notch stuff there. You "Masters" have outdone yourselves. |

Do you think that will affect the vote in the regular FS? After the voters look at all these top notch images, the regular free study images won't look as good. |

Another fun factor...in about 2 1/2 hours there will be approximately another 300 fresh images to vote on with tonights rollover! :-) |

Definitely. I voted Masters straight through, moved over to FS, then said to myself "Ut Oh, gotta decompress first before you tackle these if you want to be fair!"

Don't forget, registered users are also voting in the MFS. That may account for the higher number of votes compared to the regular FS in which only members may vote... :) |

Of course, but it's still an extraordinary number of votes in 48 hours...

True that. Kind of disappointing in a way. With this number of votes so early on, there's virtually no hope of your score changing very much the rest of the week. Pretty much know already how it's going to end. |
