I never finished it even on easy. My son does it for me with a really weird look on his face when I ask him cuz I go do something else in another room only to return when he's finished.
I would rather listen to Micheal Jackson than Poison. (what a thought!) |
I have the same feelings towards a Beastie Boys song in Rock Band 2. It's, horrible. It's not even music. How it made it on the disc I'll never know. Someone from Harmonix must have a Beastie Boys hard-on. |
They must have forked out the bacon. :) I'm sure there's a line of waiting bands that would love to be included in the game. What a revival for the music industry these games have been. Close to a billion in sales combined. |

on the other side - it's pretty cool they make a point to offer so-called 'unknown' bands also. those bands likely don't have the bacon to fork out...

Yes very cool. Maybe an indie release. eheh
I started GoW2 on hardcore and dang, where are the ammo packs? sheesh. I'm using burst fire to save on bullets. Still a lot of fun. It'll just make me better at aiming, I'm still a bit jerky. I watch my son play and his movement is so smoooooth. I'm jealous. ;] |

Since it's a single player, I'm going to wait to get Dead Space when it goes down in price. I'm currently playing BioShock and I think it's a pretty clever game. I'm liking the whole Randian dystopia aspect of it. |

Both added to my ever growing list of games I want to try. Bioshock seems really well thought out from the one description I've read.
eta Just watched some videos on the Bioshock site and I'm impressed. And to boot, it all takes place the year I was born. (play twilight zone music)

they had a number of used copies of dead space at gamespot here local. not substantially cheaper than new - cuz it's a pretty new game. but all three employees were raving about it.

My gamertag is : DiseasedBody
my game of choice is Call of Duty 5.
It's the best game I've ever played online. There's so much to do
everyone add me, and let me know if you have COD5. We can make a clan and kick ass online |

You know that it's not really Call of Duty 5 right? If each Call of Duty game went by a number, World at War would be Call of Duty 11 or 12.
You're going to be awfully confused when Infinity Ward puts out the actual Call of Duty 5. hehe. (wikipedia states that Infinity Ward will actually be calling the next one Call of Duty 6, but I'll believe that when I see it).

Yeah I know they don't actually have the number 5 in the title, But it's easier to type out then world at war and I figured everyone would know what I was talking about |

I apologize. I tend to be a little cranky on Sunday mornings and you got the brunt of my having to sit through a hundred posts calling it COD5 on the team XBox forums. |

No, I tend to stay away from FPS and especially online, where they're over-run by disrespectful little punks. heh

I played Bioshock. I really wasn't all that impressed with the gameplay. I mean the story and the music were suitably creepy, but overall, I give it 3/5 stars.
I'm going to trade my copy in. |

A warning to anyone even contemplating doing the Endless Setlist 2 (or the original Endless Setlist in Rock Band 1).
Pack your hand in an ice-pack afterwards.
It's what, 5 days since I did it? My hand hasn't recovered. My thumb and pinky finger are on fire almost constantly, and I played a little last night to try and stretch them out and I thought I was going to die.
Maybe you have to be younger than 35 or something, I dunno. |

it's because you tensed up between notes on the medium difficulty. your hands were anticipating twice as many notes as on hard ( which i imagine is what you're used to ), and your brain had to tell them not to pluck... lots of extra neurological messages being sent to the muscles in your hands...

it's supposed too... the science of gaming... ;}
not to say hard wouldn't make your fingers sore or anything, or that you'd have been able to finish it on hard... ;}

I wouldn't have been able to finish it on Hard. I spent a half-hour on The Mighty Mighty Bosstones' "Where'd You Go" last night, and couldn't get past 75%. I don't get it. It's anathema. |

Don't buy Sonic Unleashed unless you are into speed. I used to be a sonic fan (Sega Saturn/Dreamcast) until they soldout to the dark side. Seen the new one the other day and the grapics looked awesome so I bought.
Interesting Take; You play as two Sonics.
In day light you play as the original loveable speed freak hedgehog with all the dash levels. This is the fastest Sonic you will ever have played. Insane long and fast dash levels and bosses that you wished you still had that 15 year old around the house so you could hand him/her the controller and say get me past this one. (Yes I used to do that) I have got past 3 of the bosses in this one (with help from wife on the Tails level).
At night you play as the second Sonic which is a Werehog (werewolf) where you wander/climb around through levels and hack and smash enemies, collect rings and items. Some don't like this character as it don't stick to the Original Speed type levels but I welcome the slow down in pace between dash levels. Different powers different button combinations. I get the buttons confused between the two and that don't help.
Lot's of mini games in this as well. (single player only)
It is a great sonic game but know it is fast and gets really really tough to go from stage to stage.
