Happy thanks giving, in our circle of friends here in Aussie is an American woman away from her family in California, had just finished talking to her daughter on the phone saying that she would be missing the family dinner when 4 of us turned up with turkey and pumpkin pie plus the trimmings, she was so happy she picked up the phone rang her daughter saying forget our last conversation.

Happy birthday, Susan!!

We just got back from Thanksgiving Dinner at the hospital. Mom is in rehab now and they have a kitchen, dining room and a common area. One of the nurses cooks a big dinner every year for the patients, their families and the some of the staff that gets stuck working. It was a quite a spread!

Yay Terry! I'm so happy you guys were able to have a Thanksgiving dinner together! And, you didn't even have to do the dishes. Send me an email when you get a chance with another update (it's been a while girl!).

My 1 week exile ends tonight at midnight. I hate not having an update button. I have entries for FS & Superpowers that I like, but will get sucky scores. No weird borders!!

I might be facing my fourth angioplasty in January. I'm to "take it easy" for the month of December. Yeah, right. I take the test on Jan. 5th to find out. I already have 5 stents. I'm wondering how many they can possibly put in. I'm also wondering how many it takes to make a metal detector go off. LOL!

Funny how January is such a popular month for learning if your medical condition is serious...guess they wait to see how badly people wreck themselves over Christmas first. I don't get to see the Thyroid Guru until January 15 and learn what's wrong with the damn thing for once and for all.

However, seeing that thyroid cancer is perhaps THE slowest-growing cancer in the human body, I guess the rationale is 'Well if they're still alive by then, it can't be cancer now, can it?'

Not so far, but there has been some mining of our community for various unsavory types looking for things.

If you are unsure, report it to SC and let them deal with it.....site mining for addys and personal info is serious stuff and should be dealt with quickly and decisively.

In this case, I do believe the approach was made through the PM system, so that's no limitation.

Yeah, I responded to the first one that he should enter challenges and I'd be happy to comment on his photos. Then I got a second one asking me to email him pictures and accept an email with pictures from him. I reported the second one.
