Challenge submission,
and what I would have submitted with the new members rules allowances.
Thoughts? |

What changes did you make that would normally be DPC-illegal?

The only difference my untrained eye can see is crop and zoom.
Those functions are legal anyway, right? |

The highlight area has been dodged with a 12% exposure and blurred a tiny bit to blend. I brought out more of the background with the burn tool, again at a very low percentage.
And, yes, tightened the crop which is not part of the "not legal" work.
I had done this at the same time as the one submitted so I could see if I could anticipate some of the comments that would be made and I was spot on.
Except I didn't change the over all lighting to brighten it, which I also expected, as I like the underexposed treatment.
thanks guys. |

Looks like you burned in some of the highlights on the top and the small petal tip to reduce glare and even out the lighting. I can't see anything else (besides crop) in the browser view ... I think it is an improvement. |
