| well went into my local camera store today and was looking for a new lens. I was about to buy a used 55-200mm ed dx 4.5/5 lens. It was 4150 and then asked about how much a new one was with vr.....Well a new lens with VR was the same price because of a 100 dollar instant rebate....So that made my day. I know it isn't a top of the line super lens but it works for me....getting a 250 dollar lens for 150 is awesome....the rebate is til nov 22 so I thought I would give the heads up .... |

ah.. the 4 is supposed to be a $. I just about spit coffee all over my keyboard at a consumer zoom being 4150 dollars. lol |

Lol, me too, until I realised that he was talking about the same lens I have and that taking off the 4 made sense!
But yeah, I had to go without the vr cuz there was no $100 off when I bought last year :(
