Kinda Like Song Titles and Book Titles.
I am not sure if this has been done before but, I think it may be neat.

Quite some time back in the challenge suggestions forum, I posted a poem and suggested a challenge to make photos to go with it. Unfortunately, I don't think there was great interest in it, but I do enjoy the idea :)

This would be a good time to experiment with having the additional comments viewable during the challenge, so people could post their poetic selection there.
I don't think there's enough common knowledge of individual poems (as there is for song lyrics), for the titles alone to let people fairly judge whether the photographer has successfully interpreted the poem.
Otherwise, we'd have to do it as John suggested, by posting one (or more) poems within the Challenge topic/guidelines for people to interpret. |

The best of the best would no doubt be exceptional; there are many very creative folks here. It would be pure h-e-double-toothpicks for me, 'cause I am soooooo left brained.
Nonetheless, when I read your post, I immediately thought "should be specificaly a short poem, e.g. haiku, and make the text part of the image."
Post that challenge and watch us left-brainers tear our hair out! O wait, mine's already gone...

now that is a cooool idea. If that is so, it should prob be memb only for less entries since there would be reading involved.
That would be really neat.
