McCain minimized it and went on to speak very eloquently ...so why did he shout so much during the campaign? |

That was the best speech McCain has given since the start. |

If McCain was this humble and gracious to begin with, this wont have been such a clean sweep. He spoke like a gentleman.
Now I cant wait to hear Obama... |

Yeah, he spoke very well. He sounded genuine for the first time I've heard. Hat's off to him.
ETA: Shhhh, Obama speaks AND a DPC rollover... I don't know if I can take the stress!

That was the sad part I thought. People really liked McCain but the choice of Palin and all the dirty campaigning when he really had a shot on his own, I think his campaign self-destructed in a way. Maverick no more.
Agreed with everyone. That was the best speech of his so far.
Yay! Obama's turn... |

FDR, LBJ, then BHO in that order. Third largest vote for a democrat. It may turn out to be the largest percentage of registered voters ever. |

Right. This in itself is historic.. that someone could motivate such huge portion of the population to go out and vote. |

And a very good concession speech by McCain, Now perhaps we can stop the fighting and get down to work fixing the mess we are in. I can only hope Obama runs his presidency with the same steady, intelligent dignity he has shown in his campaign. |

Yes, and that is exactly what we need... we have had a enough negativity these last 8 years, time to move ahead and start fixing this great country. |

... just responding to the motivational comment by Prash. I'm sure there's miles of difference between Obama and Robbins. |
