Weird is good. It's also the stuff brown ribbons are made of....

Ok, I HAVE to quit sipping on liquids while I'm looking at your shots! I just finished cleaning up the mess after spraying my screen when I pulled your shot up!

Hate to be a downer, but I don't think DPL actually exists anymore =) But i'm still for being in a team that'll help each other with photos pre and post challenge =)

Pamplemousse is still volunteering for the position.

On another subject, does anyone want to take a look at my freestudy and let me know what they think (or what I can improve?) =)

If an evaluation from a brown ribbon winner will help, Sure. I'll PM you my e-mail. (It's not Pamlpemousse, is it?)

All the better then! Being in a larger group challenge situation creates a lot of tension. I was part of a team when I first started in DPC and I didn't like the pressure of having to come up with shots so as not to let my team down. It became more work than fun.

I think that a group, if that word fits better than team, is a friendly thing to do. However, I have noticed that some of you already have team names to your profiles/signatures. I see that goinskiing is part of Team Sucks too.

Does anyone really WANT a group/team? I was thinking of a group of similar minded photographers, just getting to know one another, helping one another and having some laughs and some fun with photography as we all take our shots...especially the OOBIE's, shoehorns and humorous shots.

I've seen that Karmat has also popped in and made reference to Team Suck and it seems that they are accepting new members??? If this seems repetitious, then perhaps, I have come up with a rather silly suggestion????

Please give me your opinions as I'd love to hear them.

I think we should adopt Pamplemouse as our official mascot but, he's going to need a Brown Ribbon hanging from his mouth! ;)

Personally, I like the idea of being a part of a DPL-style team. But I'm glad to be included in any sort of group where I could get to know people better on a more one-on-one (or group-on-one) basis! Perhaps someday when the DPL takes off again, then those of us who are into that can branch off and represent. Until then, having a handful of peeps to get some advice from pre and/or post challenge would be really helpful! I need some friends who I can depend on for honest, straightforward and in-depth critiques or I am never going to get better.

I personally like the idea of being part of different teams and groups and what have yous. What I like is that I can get to know some more DPCers one on one that we can share ideas and pictures, offering help, critiques and the like, and just for fun. I wasn't necessarily viewing this group as a competitive group, but more like a commonplace area where "the more the merrier" and have fun. That's what I was thinking FWIW. I think its a great idea personally.

I like the Pamplemousse because it makes me want to think out of the box and be a little more creative with the challenges.

Just my $.02

So, do we have some final options for our official mascot/logo? I want to get one on my profile page :)

Yes, I need a smaller version of PampleMousse. I was also thinking that the Posthumous (side) masters challenge sounds like something we all need to be part of. I am starting to work up my odd ideas. Most of them involve shoehorns and fabric reptiles.

So I take it this has fizzled out?

You all could definitely join Team Suck--we don't really compete. Mostly just give support and hang out. Each entry is shown at the end of each challenge, but there is no pressure to be good (or bad). You could come as a team and keep your logo, or join in with others.
