		| | Well, let's see... I'm deaf, of course, so I don't "do" concerts, but oddly enough I used to, back in the days when I was a hardcore hippie, yeah :-) I had lots of friends involved in that world, and I used to get into concerts free. They let me stand up next to the amps, and I'd absorb the music through my skin :-)
Generale, I was at Altamont also :-) Small world...

At the Fillmore East I remember Jim Morrison and the Doors very well. I once spent a whole night (and into the next morning) drinking with Janis Joplin (and a bunch of other people) and that was a strange experience. I knew Jerry Garcia (not real well but a little more than "hi, how are ya") and many people assume my screen name is a Deadhead reference, though it actually isn't. I remember Bob Dylan, I remember Pete Seeger, I remember Arlo Guthrie and Joan Baez. I actually met Joan, I was friends with her sister Mimi's husband Richard Farina (God rest his soul, if you are interested in counterculture arcana locate a copy of his incredible novel Been Down So Long it Looks Like Up to Me)...

I am getting long winded. This is all so long ago it's like in another country. Modern music? I haven't a clue....

I know there are more...will update as I recall or find ticket stubs. But being over 50 kind of slows down the recall of events as well as where things have been stored)

 Rick Derringer
The Judy Bats (Down in the valley where the satellite dishes grow)

Or maybe just read some lists to jog the memory:
 Alice Cooper
 Moody Blues
 Edgar Winter
 Johnny Winter (2x)

 Tom Petty
 Queen
 Elvis Costello

 J. Geils Band
 Sly and the Family Stone
Robert Fripp (believe it was with the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen)
 Talking heads (2x)
 The Clash (2x)
 Supertramp

Have twice tried to see U2 and somehow, for some reason, the fine line of the law prevented me. What a waste of good tickets.

Oh, and of course this list does not include the at least 3 dozen orchestras, chamber groups, classical and jazz quartets seen along the way.

 In other situations:
Brian Eno twice on lecture tour
