Last week, I was thinking of ideas for this challenge. I was chatting to a friend on the phone about it and came up with the idea, but needed an old woman. Damion was sitting in front of me, half full of beer and being a bit of a smart ass. He quickly turned around and put his hand up and said "I'll do it". My friend and I nearly fell over in shock. So I started planning it.
Two day later Damion said to me, "You do know I was only joking" I replied "Yep.....but I wasn't". Hehehehe!!
Never say that you will do something and expect me to forget it or let you get out of it!!!! So then I started thinking of locations and props. I went to the local second hand shop and bought the biggest bra I could find (even that was a squeeze to get on him) and a nightie. Some socks to stuff the bra, hair rollers, wig and slippers later I had his outfit. I went to the local Tourist Bureau and asked for permission to shoot on the front steps of the Pioneer Village. They couldn't stop laughing and rang the co-ordinator who gave me permission.
So on Monday 3 hours before rollover I quickly dressed him (he was tired from finishing nightshift that morning)....bundled him and the dog into the car....laughing all the way at the strange looks he was getting from passersby and truckies!!!! We arrived at the location and quickly walked 200 meters to the front of the building.....shot for about 10 minutes and drove home.
Then the scores started....and he was really getting stressed. The scores kept going up...6.5, 6.6 and more, with a fave from Jason_Cross in the first 10 minutes...."NOOOOOOOOO"....he kept saying..."I am going to ring up SC and get them to DQ it...you can't have me on the front page. This is my 3rd image on that site with me in womens clothing....I can't be on the front page....NOOOOOO!" ROFLMFAO!!
So a great big thankyou to Damion and Misty the dog (who refused to be left out of the image!!!!). And a big thankyou to all the commenters who kept us laughing all week.

Loved the shot. But this poses a serious problem: do I show it to the little man and say, See, you could do something like this to help me? Would that encourage him or scare the whatever out of him? |

I keep a growth of facial hair going, just to minimize the chances that I will face a similar fate. |
