Am I reading that right Edward? it reads as if your saying people already cheat 'a little'.

You know what, I really want to enter more free studies, so I'm in! :D

(I tend to forget to enter free studies all the time, so if anyone could PM me 2-3 days before the deadline every month next year, that would be really awesome :P)

LOL I have missed the last 2 FS's and then my others have been pitiful, but I am game, PM sent, Thanks although I know I have no hope of wearing that baseball cap LOL. Scott you should insist on the winner wearing the cap, taking a pic of himself or herself wearing it and make it their profile picture for the following year! Hehehehe

Last year I did pretty good and finished reasonably high up, this year is a bust so lets hope third time is a charm.

Im in, and now I hope this gives me a chance to change and grow as I am serious about photography and hope to move up to a nice DSLR this christmas. I'm excited as I now have the time to actually do some photography and not write stupid random thoughts on random discussions.

Sorry, haven't been following the thread so much and missed this. No, it's a case of a mis-placed modifier. I meant that it would put people into a little more of a mood to want to cheat. heh.

Although, you know, human nature and all, I'm pretty sure that there are people cheating no matter how much we'd like to not think about it.

K10DGuy, if you want to cheat, then you are only cheating yourself.

I would suggest that no-one in the side challenge cheats. This is the first time there has been an award to the winner, we do it because it gives an interest right through the year, and most of us get our best scores in the FSM than in other challenges.

I don't know why you have such negative feelings for this site? You distrust everyone and everything here. Just chill out and go with the flow:))

Scott does this FSM for our benefit, he gains nothing from it, apart from satisfaction and that is exactly what we get from it. No hidden agendas, no cheating or wrong doings, it is a fun side challenge!!

Woah. Where on earth did I ever say I have negative feelings for this site and/or distrust everyone and everything? Um. Yikes?

I wasn't the first or only one to bring up the point, and I pretty much kiboshed it right away. Cheating happens, but it doesn't ruin my enjoyment, and I was just clarifying something on my last post. Breathe man, breathe.

I have really enjoyed the FSM this year, but lately, it has become more of a stress, and less fun for me. It's my own fault for stressing, and for trying too hard, on top of other major stresses in my life at the moment, but I'm not sure if I can do this next year. I have to decide if I can approach it differently next year before I commit to entering. Maybe if I force myself to not enter Jan, then I won't be so stressed about my placing for the rest of the year. ;)

David, I hear you! Your 5.7 really hurt you and think I got off lightly with my 2 5.9's. Having such a good start to the FSM I found myself needing to visit the Zoo a couple of times a month for that 'safe' 6+ shot. I will add that a good Zoo shot is not as easy as the knockers suggest. So, this month have decided to leave the Zoo behind and (hopefully) score well enough to keep my FSM nosebleed running ;)
