I'll be in the miracle of lights show here which is just 2 minutes away from our house. I've been here every year but never had the chance to take pictures. It's a drive-thru so no chance of going down, I'll probably have my wife drive so I can take pictures. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

We went to a similiar winter lights show a few years back (just for viewing - not pics) and I came away kicking myself for overlooking something so obvious. Make sure your car windows are clean in and out. Also it is much nicer if you can go on a night when there is at least a light covering of snow on the ground. Never had the pleasure but it might make for some interesting shots to go when a snow is actually falling. GL

A car clamp might be good

//www.reallyrightstuff.com/ sell a lot of things like that, or try //bhphoto.com

Look for a car window clamp.

if you want to take shots with the speed at 1/60, 1/125 you might want to set the iso of your camera to 400(or greater depending on how dark it is). you'll get a little noise(i'm not sure how much noise there is at this iso) but you'll be able to freeze the action and not get light trails.
