Hey I got a few comments guessing as to how this was done so I thought I'd post my info!
I really wanted to try an IreneM style shot so I finally tried it. Throught the crazy experience and lots of cleanup I got this one shot out of one hundred. I have a new respect for her now as it took me hours to get it right...
I broke the glass almost a month ago and knew I wanted to use it in a challenge but nothing came up so I decided to enter my first free study.
SET UP
The falling over glass is held up with fishing line by my wife. After the flashes (one blowing out the background and one above the glasses with an umbrella) settings were dialed in she held on to the fishing line and sprayed one of those compressed air cans into the glass causing chaos to the drink.. Nope not jello for those that wondered! Any ways thats how I did it. |

I thought perhaps it was Irene, so I'd say you did a great job! And it was just a tad perplexing trying to figure out how you did it. Very clever! |

You did a great job on this, Patrick. It's well executed and very creative. I do all that messy stuff in my kitchen, that way the cleaning up is slightly easier ;-) |
