I just read some of your comments from another thread talking about this and I think they are brilliant and you deserve a Yappie award. And I think it's sad that some people didn't mark your comments as helpful. Your comments are refreshing and funny and it shows how creative you are. I am just a bit sad I didn't get one. :)

well, your comment wasn't really how i wanted my entry to be interpreted but it was a fun and refreshing read anyways.
also read some of the other comments you gave out, really creative writing man, please keep it up!

Stick with it, if you continue to have time for such detailed comments. You have now established a rep and people will be looking forward to your creative interpretations of their entries.

I sometimes leave slightly flippant comments (not on such a large scale as you have, however) and have wondered how people take them.

Our artistic works are rarely interpreted the way we want them, and it is my experience that a really good artist generally leaves their work open to interpretation more than not.

One reason I chose the Free Study, because it opens itself to open interpretation, where the narrower challenges wouldn't allow so much for it.

right, and i really appriciate your comment and i always respect people that interpret my work an other way than i do.
it was just that when i read your comment i was reminded of my fears that i didn't want my grandpa to end his life the way you described in your comment. it's not that i felt offended or anything, it rather reminded me on how lucky i am to have a grandpa that is still really fit, both mentally and physically.
you confronted me with a reality i didn't want to face.
i'll take these thoughts and feelings, provoked by your comment, as kind of a therapy to help me realize and live with my inner feelings and fears...;)

I think it is a fine and true thing you have done, K10D. All pictures trigger stuff in us whether we think so or not. Story is an ancient form of making sense out of our reactions and finding something.
