i was using the 400D.. since upgrading to the 40D i'm finding that my RAW files wont download into CS3 ..
after googling i'm under the impression that i wont be able to put the RAW files into CS3 because of some incompatibility .. does anyone have any information for me about this ..:)

You need at least version 4.2 of the RAW plugin for CS3 to work. Download the latest version of the plugin from the Adobe site.

You should also be able to go to updates with CS3 open and it should update to the latest on its own.

Your files will work. As  cpanaioti said, update ACR and dragonflies will come en masse!

thanx so much you guys .. its working now ..
i googled adobe raw version 4.2 and used this page adobe downloads .. got version 4.5 ..:)
