i need an american history buff's help

hey i just wrote this quicky essay on how salutory neglect is responsible for the American colonists rebellion agaisnt the British. if could email it to someone educated in this area, id love to know if its actually right and i didnt just make it up as i went. this is not so i can cheat, i just want to know if i did it right. please help!

Clearly your premise is wrong - the colonists rebelled because they didn't like that snooty British accent, coupled with the British invasion by The Beatles, Rolling Stones and The Who.

Of course, I am a product of the California Public Education system, so I may be off a little. If so, consider this a bump for someone smarter than me. ...if there is such a person. :) Good luck with it.
