I am in for Abstract Emotion, and as usual I love this image. I am fully prepared to be totally spanked by the voters. All I can say is: Bring It On!!! |

I found this great new place yesterday, . It has a 400ft. boardwalk that goes through the marshes,
and apparently there is plenty of wildlife around. . I was told I had just missed some deer. I will be going back soon!! |

Pennsauken's looking pretty good lately - is this around Cooper River? |

No, it's around the Delaware River, the boardwalk ends at the river. It's off River & Cove Rds. It was in the paper (Courier Post) where they did a big write up about Pennsauken. I never knew it existed. LOL! |

I did a google map on "River & Cove Pennsauken, NJ 08110". It looks like it is just south of the Betsy Ross Bridge. |

Yes, that's right. You'd never find it if you didn't know where to look. The area used to be a popular beach location in the 30's & 40's from what I read. |

Well I'm in for jammies no Wow and I'm thinking another brown ribbon. I told Deb that's what I'm going to start shooting for and then if by some wild chance I win I'll know that I did good. |

Goals are good! I was aiming to keep my submissions under 5.5 for the week, and started out that way but have since screwed up, apparently. One is just below 5.7 and the other is trying for 5.8 but might not get there. I REALLY want to enter a particular picture in one of the opens, but I'll probably enter the one more acceptable to the DPC masses. I'll kick myself all week, too. But I'll post the outtake at some point. :-) |

OK, I replied, but now I *am* going to bed. (My advice is worth the price you paid for it - just remember that.) :-) |

Jeffrey great post it is always nice to read about other cultures and relgions so thanks and L'shana tovah to you and yours! On another note I have a folder in my Portfolio that is called school, I'm putting some of my photos in there to share with the more expericence people so hopefully we can all see how much I've learned. This week we are out of auto mode and will be learning f stops and shutter speed. Wish me luck as my poor old mind is bulking at getting this right. Edit to add all comments are welcomed as that way I will learn more.

I had an interesting thought..scary I know. Thinking about a side challenge which would be 3 weeks long and the gist of it would be that you have to declare which of the upcomming week's challenges you are going to use by the sunday night. The idea being you cannot submit anything like what is in your top 5.
So for me I would not be able to shoot sports, nature or landscape. That would put me out of my element and mean I have to shoot pretty much studio stuff. The tough part would be deciding what you cannot shoot. So for my example because I have 3 wakeboard pics does that mean I just can't shoot wakeboarding or any sports? Same for nature..my shot on my page is a bird, so is that just no birds or no nature?
I don't know...maybe it would not work. :(

Both will bomb I'm sure.
